Victron Charger and Eberspächer replacement

When we bought Sea Crusader the surveyor (jim Prichard) reported that the Eberspächer was not functioning so I called Kruger Ltd the G.B. Eberspächer agents who dispatched an engineer to sort out the problem. Unfortunately today they have removed the heater and declared it uneconomic to repair so a new one has been ordered. Worst there is a European shortage and they won't be able to replace it until February/March. I don't quite understand the economics of it but apparently the market for marine heaters is so small they they only make about two batches a year and we have to wait until the next batch are made…

The other bit of bad news is that my Victron inverter charger was power cycling and they too has been replaced. I hope that this one proves to be more reliable.
