Day 46 Arriving Mariehamn Aland
We had a great sail from Baro to Mariehamn it was gentle and uneventful and the weather Gods were on our side. When we arrived the wind picked up of course (it always does that when you are trying to moor) and were told to take the inside berth and the end next to another large boat.
It looked difficult but the team now knows the routine and we went in like a dream, with everyone watching. Linda and Richard and Charlotte all went to the town but for some reason I didn't go.
In the evening there was a cocktail competition which was rubbish, Linda made a Pimms (Our drinks cupboard almost empty at this stage of the rally). However is was a good excuse for a pontoon party and an exchange of the events of the last few days.
