Day 4 Windows continued...
At 10am I received a call from the Marina office and hooray! UPS had delivered our new windows. Within an hour Mick from M & P Marine Services was on board removing the original windows.
The new windows were perfect, they went flush to the decks, the original Lewmar windows are nicely proud and consequently genoa sheets make a valiant effort to rip them off if you are not careful. By 4pm the old windows were history and we were ready to go.
As soon as I paid the marina bill (apparently three for the price of two was not available) we left for Ramsgate. The going was disappointingly hard with us still being headed but the forecast for Saturday was fantastic. I volunteered to get up at 4pm to see if the wind had changed and to wake the others if it had.
