Day 10 Rendsburg to Kiel
We had a civilised start and left around 9:30am. It was only 2 ½ hours to the lock. However we had a two hour wait before we were allowed into the lock.
I have no idea where the day went but we didn't arrive in Kiel until 4:30pm. Luckily the harbour master gave me a tip for a good restaurant in the esplanade, and we had a nice civilised meal in a restaurant that was almost full. On this holiday that has been a rarity because of the unseasonal weather.
Afterwards Alistair and I went to explore the hostelries of Kiel.
