Lymington to Hamble race

We had a blast to Lymington but sadly for us there were too many windward marks and we cannot sheet in the massive overlapping Genoa on Diamond Blue far enough to allow her to point high enough. Consequently we lose out on this point of sail and so courses with too many windward marks are hard to win.

Later in the day we had a pontoon party and low and behold who was there but none other than the person we bought old Bay Trees from. I would never have recognised him but Sarah and Dietrich knew him well.

The race back was dull, the winds were light and sadly this was not one of our better weekends. But we had fin all the same with good company.
