Day 20 To the Caves
A lazy start for everyone. Jane was fatigued from the traveling and Linda form her long night watch. I was fully recovered and raring to go.
Linda decided she didn't want to do anything and would rather read on the boat and sleep. As it happened she went for a long walk in town I however wanted to make the best of our time here as it was unlikely I would ever be back.
So Jane said she would go for a cycle with me, which sounded great except I didn't really know that Jane was a "leader" in all things….
We headed off along the national cycle route around the island and, we had studied the map so had an idea we would see a few tourists attractions. As we passed a smart block of flats we spotted a beach-bar/cafe and decided to stop. We shared a pizza, paid and left.
We cycled until we had had enough and then saw that the next location was a name we remembered from the map. On arrival we found that we had ridden to a caving site with a visitors centre. It turn out that this Island is in actually a coral island and is made out of a reef. At this point three boys discovered a cave and it resulted in caving in Sweden as a result. The system has been explored to over 2 miles into the rocks now.
